The 9th and 10th month of the Gregorian calendar is full of festivals in India. From Ganesh Chaturthi to Diwali, these two months are full of pujas and celebrations. Vijaya Dashami or Dasara is the celebration that comes between Navratri and Diwali. The end of Durga puja is marked with Dasara celebrations and Diwali will be celebrated after 20 days. So this is an ideal time to send your love and gifts to your family and friends who stay away from you. Sweets are inevitable for all these celebrations and here we will talk about the sweets.
Gulab Jamuns to start with:
Gulab Jamuns are made from milk solids and sugar syrup. They are one of the easily available sweets in India. So, sending a box of Gulab Jamuns along with a bunch of pink roses can be considered as one of the usual Vijaya Dashami gifts.
Ladoos and roses:
Just like Gulab Jamun, ladoos are also famous in India and are one of my favorite sweets. Sent a box of ladoos along with a bunch of roses to wish your friends or family members on this year’s Vijaya Dashami. I am sure that they will love the orange colored ladoo.
Soan Papdi for celebration:
Another commonly available sweet is Soan Papdi and everyone loves to have it as snacks. So, send a box of Soan Papdi along with a bouquet of red roses and white carnations as this year’s gift.
An advance greeting for Diwali:
As I mentioned above, Diwali comes after 20 days of Dasara celebrations. So, sending an advance Diwali gift is a unique way to express your love. For that, you can order a box of mix sweets and a greeting card from online stores.
